Rates

I believe in being transparent, honest and upfront about my costs and in giving the best value I possible can.

My basic day rate is £875 plus travel and expenses. I don’t charge VAT. I usually include unlimited, worldwide usage as well as all digital processing, editing and minor retouching to remove small blemishes (dust etc). My cost also includes supply of low and hi res tiffs by Dropbox, which I normally aim to do within 48hrs of a shoot.

Every shoot is different, but as an example, I could probably photograph 8-10 plated dishes in a day, assuming each shot requires different props, backgrounds, styling, compositions etc.

For multi-day or multi-image shoots I may have to charge additional time for processing. Significant retouching (eg removing backgrounds, logos etc) will also incur further charges.

I endeavour to provide Estimates in advance for all my work, including background and prop hire, based upon the brief.

I only do half days as part of multi-day shoots and only hire out my props and kitchen studio to clients for whom I am working.

• Props: £4.50 ea.
