Simpson’s in The Strand
Feature for BEEF Magazine
German magazine BEEF asked me to shoot this feature on the Meat Carving Course at Simpson’s in the Strand, one of London’s great food institutions, now owned by the Savoy Hotel. As well as shooting the step by step process by which Simpsons prepare and carve the joints for which they are famous, BEEF also wanted me to capture the very traditional, British, clubby feel of the interior – all dim lighting and mahogany.
